On the Isle of Wight, the most haunted area of the UK, in the middle of a field, hidden from the road stands the Mottistone.  On my travels there, I stumbled across a path leading to it though twisted trees which almost formed a tunnel.  The wind beckoned us, pushed us down the path and when we got near the end, we saw the tall single standing stone, surrounded by horses, and as they caught sight of us they came and peeped around the edges of the tree line and then dispersed as if they were there to grant us access to the monolith.

The horse is one of the celts main power animals, and the whole experience was very haunting and mysterious indeed.
